Losing a tooth when you were a kid was probably fun, with the tooth fairy making her visit but now that you are older, losing your teeth might not be a great thing since these are the only set of teeth you have left.
Brushing away the tartar is important to keep your teeth in good condition. The build up of it causes cavities, decay, and gum disease. Maintaining proper dental hygiene is important.
A visit to the dentist is expensive and unavoidable but there are things to do at home to keep the visits low, like brushing with baking soda.
Brushing with baking soda will help but if you lack the time, brushing regularly works great. Make sure to use a toothbrush that has the American Dental Association seal of approval.
Baking soda doesn't only whiten the teeth. It also helps with preventing bad breath, balancing the acid levels in your mouth. It also helps in preventing gum disease caused by plaque buildup. Using baking soda to brush your teeth removes the bulk of the buildup.
Mouth ulcers can also be soothed, proving to speed up the healing process of the sores.

All you need is baking soda, salt, hydrogen peroxide, water, a cup, a dental pick and a toothpick. Make your toothpaste mix with one tablespoon of baking soda with a half teaspoon of salt. Brush your teeth with the mixture for five minutes before spitting it out.
Mix a cup of hydrogen peroxide with a half cup of water and gargle it for a minute. After, you can rinse your mouth with just plain water.
When you are done rinsing, use the dental pick to scrape the yellow tartar off of your teeth.
